The Treatment
EBO2 stands for Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation. It is a treatment that uses blood transfusions to treat diseases including patients with autoimmune diseases like Lupus or Crohn’s disease. The process involves removing the patient’s blood and changing it into oxygenated blood. This newly oxygenated blood can then be given back to the patient intravenously, which allows their body to use it as if they were breathing in fresh air. While this isn’t an instant cure, it has been shown to be very effective at reducing symptoms of autoimmune diseases like Lupus or Crohn’s while also helping with other conditions like asthma or Type 1 diabetes. Autoimmune conditions are a tough pill to swallow. You might feel like you’re in the dark, and that no one understands what you’re going through. But we have good news: there is hope!
EBO2 therapy is a new treatment that’s showing promise in helping people with autoimmune conditions. In a scientific article, Rowen reports findings from a case study of a 48-year-old male with an autoimmune condition being treated with ozone therapy. The study presents ozone therapy as a “unique therapy” and “immune system modulator”. The findings show that ozone therapy is a powerful, safe immune modulator and anti-infective agent. This case has significant relevance in emphasising the positive of individual assessment as alternative treatments such as ozone therapy can lead to substantial improvements in patient health.
Another case study looked at a 69-year-old woman with an autoimmune disorder called Sjögren syndrome (SS) who later developed autoimmune thyroiditis and showed the presence of rheumatoid factors. After only 2 sessions of ozone therapy, the patient reported her symptoms of ocular dryness, fatigue and pain as no longer symptoms being experienced. This provides evidence showing ozone therapy is a feasible approach to treating autoimmune disease without significant side effects.
